Diving boldly into God's sea of love
I found myself back on a favorite beach, allured on a chilly, windy morning to witness a breathtaking sunrise. There in the sky among the other cloud formations was a large feather-like cloud. In the midst of the feather cloud were the colors of a rainbow. I had never seen anything like it, but I believed it represented the dove company, which the Lord is releasing to advance His Kingdom. Later in my devotions that morning I read "I set my rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth" (Genesis 9:13).
God wants us to experience all His great blessings, but they are not ours until we enter into relationship with Him on the basis of His covenant. Being ignorant of or disbelieving His promises is like treading water. We may look like we're doing something, even feel as though we are accomplishing something for Him, but unless we're willing to lose ourselves in His vast sea of love --both receiving of it and giving it away -- nothing is ever gained.

The most excellent way for the Body of Christ to express its love to one another and to the world is beautifully described in
1 Corinthians 13. But do we really grasp its depth and apply the truths to our own lives? What if we sought to simply "do good to others" with no thought of recompense?
Let us desire for Holy Spirit to abide with us wherever we go and to be a dwelling place gentle enough in love for Him to rest on our shoulders. Let us daily choose to follow the way of LOVE!

Art session in Asheville, North Carolina
I will be painting and speaking on "Discovering Your Supernatural Creativity" on February 23 at the Releasing Destiny through a Supernatural Lifestyle conference in Asheville, NC.
I will be guiding participants through some practical ways to unleash individual creativity, as well as allowing time to activate and express it. So if you can attend please be sure to bring your medium of choice (i.e., sketchpad with pens, clay, collage, paints and canvas, etc.) with you for this session.

A first fruits testimony
Several months ago Cindy Incorvaia attended a conference in California where I was painting. I had the joy of praying with her to be released into creativity. She wasted no time returning home and praying over the artists of her own church. She recently sent the following update and picture of the creativity bursting forth out of that experience.
"Janice, I wanted to make sure you saw the AMAZING first-fruits of our prophetic art workshop last weekend in Santa Barbara. THANK YOU for pouring into my life and dropping a little seed in there that has "sprung up like the dawn" and is growing rapidly ... all for his glory."
