For over two years now the Lord has had me "following a cloud" to numerous conferences throughout the country. In an atmosphere of fierce yet intimate worship He continues to download revelation and His very heart for His people. Though I've had many powerfully moving experiences, I believe what occurred in Mobile with White Dove Ministries this past week far exceeded even my expectations. All agendas were set aside and Holy Spirit directed our time there. He does it soooo well!
Usually I begin painting with very little, if anything, in mind and as much faith as I can muster up that HE will show up and direct my strokes. He always does, and this time was no exception. The difference was that I awoke that morning knowing I was to paint the Lord waltzing with His bride. I began making a quick rough sketch, more prepared than normal to create.
Sure enough, the whole day was a declaration through the Word and prophetic songs of God's immense love and calling for His bride, His wife. At one point that morning we were all prostrate before the King. Tears rolled down my face as I added the finishing touches to the canvas. I believe the Lord was smiling.
The Bride is dressed in white, beautiful and exulting in the arms of her Groom. She shines like a star in heaven (Daniel 12:3). The eyes of the entire universe are on them as they dance their first dance at the marriage of the Lamb. They are, at last, truly one in spirit.
"Let us rejoice and shout for joy! Let us celebrate and ascribe to Him glory and honor, for the marriage of the Lamb at last has come, and His wife has made herself ready." Rev. 9:7
